 A very long winter that led to even budding and slow ripening.     
TERROIR:

Very stoney soils.

 
VINTAGE NOTES:   

A very long winter that introced equal budding and a long ripening season which in turn will produce a berry with intense cultivar character and fruit concentration. 
VINIFICATION:

All grapes were hand harvested in the early cool morning. A slightly warmer fermentation followed by 4 months lees-contact to create mouth feel and structure. 
DESCRIPTION:

Bright in colour with a touch of green, asparagus, green pepper, figs and a whiff of gooseberry upfront that carries through into the palate. An excellent, light bodied companion for a summer lunch with fish, white meat, salads or a concomme.
